Fog 1 & 2

2021
Acrylic and ink on canvas. 8” x 10”.

This tiny dual set of paintings explores the way our blue-green mountains and hills where I live in the Pacific Northwest wrap themselves in tendrils of ethereal fog in the mornings of early winter and spring. I wanted to capture the way the hills feel like separate beings enrobed in clouds. I plan to use these as a springboard to a fuller series on bigger supports.

Both works in this series have been sold to a private collector.
